Can Texas be cool?

I was born and raised in Houston, Tx.

When I was 21; just six weeks after graduating from University of Texas, at Austin, I moved to New York City.

I never thought I’d be back.

From 2020 to 2021, Texas had the largest population growth of any state. Around 596,000 Americans from other states moved to Texas during 2020, according to USAFacts.com.

Luckily, for those people, and me, Texas and the Western fashions often associated with the giant state are making a comeback, just in time.

Maxi skirts, rhinestones, cowboy boots and fringe have all been seen on the runway in recent years and with the upcoming release of Beyonce’s country album; it looks like cowboy core is just getting (re) started.
